PETROCAST FKS-M-110 CONC is a semi-synthetic release agent for the pressure die casting of aluminium and magnesium alloys. The special combination of raw material result in the benefits of the product:

  • provides a high release power
  • presents excellent film forming properties at high temperatures
  • improves the metal flow of molten metal
  • leaves pieces free of stains

This product can be applied by spray-gun or automatic spray.

The recommended dilution ratio with water is from 1:50 – 1:400, always depending on the size and difficulty of the piece.

Description and Performance

The mold lubricant acts as a separating agent between the mold steel and the casting alloy, facilitates lubrication of moving mold parts such as cores slides and extraction pins, increases melt flow during mold filling, and forms a protective coating on the mold surface. Facilitates melt flow, prevents diecast alloys from sticking and prevents mold corrosion. Also, casting lubricants can affect the quality of the surface of the part and create a casting part with a smooth surface without spots and traces of melt flow.
